Faux textiles or rather artificial / imitation textiles are an alternative material to use to the real thing. Not only is it a cheaper option, but it also against animal cruelty.
We try our best to source a wide variety of faux furs and pleather / vinyl for our custom creations. In the case that we can’t find what you are looking for, we will suggest alternative design solutions for your custom order.
Foam (particularly closed-cell foam) is a material often used in cosplay, costume making and props. Many of the custom masks, headpieces and props made by SIN BIN are made out of foam due to it being lightweight and versatile.
Foams used:

Most artificial flowers in the market nowadays are made of polyester fabric, which makes it easier to achieve unusual colours by the process of dying the fabric. Our flower crowns and headpieces that require flowers are made using artificial flowers. Giving all our pieces a lifetime of bloom.
We leave the real flowers in the gardens and fields to frolic.
I want to make things of quality. I'm a big believer in handmade, tactile, crafted pieces. I want to keep that tradition alive.
Handmade things tend to be so expensive that only a small part of the population can afford them. And yet making things with hands is such an essential part of being human.

Textile design is the process of planning and producing a fabric’s appearance and structure. Textile designers dream up designs that are woven or knitted into cloth or printed on fabric. They might suggest types of thread to weave together for a specific look and feel or create patterns that adorn a fabric surface.
